Kowania (or "Cơm") is a Vietnamese design student and illustrator, who had her Bachelor of Design degree done at RMIT University Vietnam.Starting out in 2021 and already participated in various comic-related projects in local studios, Kowania has a great adoration for local artistic businesses and is very open to collaborative work.She's currently available for freelance jobs in making high-contrast, art-popping & rebel-looking digital illustrations & 2D designs.

"Otaku"
Client: Kho Muc Studio
This piece was done for an local event in 2022 which Kho Muc Studio participated. Heavily themed "Comic", it illustrates how I approach the word "Otaku" as "people with obsessive interests" and indulge themselves in the world of manga, as if they become one with their collection.The final product was printed on A3 paper using Risograph printing, with 2 colors: Black & Neon pink, done at Kho Muc Studio (HCMC, Vietnam).
Angels Reimagined
A character design based on Biblical accurate angels, combines with Greek mythology and a modern touch, aims to break free the ordinary thinking and design of angels in general.

Sandwich menu
A personal project which was inspired by Kowania's 2 most favorite subjects: cat and food. The theme is to combine different kinds of dishes made out of bread with cat features for cuteness. The challenge was to draw and paint food that gives out a "delicious" feel and warmth.

A character design project done with a team of RMIT students, the aim is to visualize a hero and a villain that exists in a fully automated economy, also representing the Utopia & Dystopia future if such economy becomes reality.
